Welcome ...
to the wonderfully woolly world of Lammermuir Shetland Wool, pure Shetland Wool from the Koru Lammermuir Shetland flock, based in East Lothian, Scotland
We love our Shetland sheep and the quality yarn they produce - and we hope that you will too! Explore this site to find out more about how we produce the wool, and look after our sheep, follow our blog and make sure you stop by our online shop. We also have a News page.
Grazing at over 700ft in the Lammermuir Hills, these hardy Shetland sheep produce a fine and soft high-high-quality wool which is ideal for knitting the finest shawls and making long-lasting sweaters, hats and more!
This is Koru Bronnen (all our sheep are pedigree and thus have birth certificates and names) - she is from an Island tup and a home-bred ewe.
Shetland Wool is renowned over the world for its fineness and softness.
Our fleeces are hand-clipped and then mill-spun in England to our specifications to ensure a consistency and produce high quality yarn from lace to DK/worsted weights.
Hand-dyed yarn is also available in mini-skeins, perfect for your fair-isle projects.
